Hi I'm originally from Auckland, New Zealand, I'm a PhD candidate in English at the University of Kentucky. I studied at Auckland University, New Zealand, and have a BA, MA, and Women's Studies Certificate from the University of Kentucky. My areas of interest include representations of motherhood in Victorian and Modernist texts. MY dissertation project investigates Katherine Mansfield as muse to D.H. Lawrence, Aldous Huxley and Virginia Woolf. I've taught college English for the past ten years, but now devote my time to writing from home. I'm presently writing a book on grief, entitled Coming Back. It covers my journey caregiving my husband through 6 years of pancreatic cancer.
